The Scaffold & Access Industry Association (SAIA) is dedicated to advancing safety, innovation, and professionalism within the scaffold and access industry. We provide world-class training and education to our members, foster best business practices, and deliver forward-thinking solutions that shape the future of the industry. As the Secretariat for the ANSI A92 and A11 standards, we are committed to ensuring continuous development and adherence to the highest safety standards.
Our SAIA University (SAIAU) Training Program offers comprehensive safety and skills training year-round for both members and non-members. Courses include:
- User Hazard Awareness for Supported Scaffolds
- User Hazard Awareness & Operator Safety Training for Suspended Scaffolds
- Competent Person Training (CPT) for supported and suspended scaffold
- Journeyman Program in Canada
- Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) Operator Training
- Mast Climbing Work Platform (MCWP) Operator Training
Each course is developed by industry experts and designed to provide in-depth instruction on the safe use, erection, and dismantling of scaffold and access equipment. Training is delivered by SAIA members who have been approved by the Accredited Training Institutes (ATI) Committee, ensuring the highest quality education and instruction.
The Scaffold & Access Industry Association (SAIA) serves a diverse community of learners—from individuals seeking to expand their skills and knowledge to global companies ensuring their teams are trained and certified to meet industry standards.
We foster an environment of learning through active participation, offering engagement opportunities via our committees, councils, regional meetings, Committee Week, and the Annual Convention. Through SAIA University (SAIAU), we have trained more than 90,000 students worldwide, equipping them with the expertise and credentials necessary to excel and work safely in the scaffold and access industry.
